Job Description: Sales and Operations Planning Program Manager
Lucid Motors is seeking a Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Program Manager to provide data-driven insights for key decision-making within both executive and operational S&OP processes. This role requires collaboration with various teams, including Sales Planning, Product Marketing, Manufacturing Planning, Material Planning, Procurement, Vehicle Program Management, and Finance.
Responsibilities:
• Data Analysis and Planning: Develop planning recommendations by retrieving, compiling, and analyzing data. Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to model the impact of program timing updates, manufacturing and material constraints, and delivery projection adjustments. Mature process discipline and KPI tracking related to forecast accuracy and performance.
• Software and System Management: Support software implementation to enhance S&OP analytics capabilities. Maintain the supply chain forecast using both S&OP software and Lucid’s ERP environment.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with the S&OP team to communicate forecasts to various cross-functional teams (supply chain, production, logistics, sales, and engineering). Act as a bridge to procurement and logistics teams regarding build plan questions. Support project initiatives across all Supply Chain functions, providing analysis, coordination, and implementation.
• Analysis and Reporting: Perform ad hoc quantitative analyses to support operational decision-making. Develop necessary process documentation for business process implementation and rollout. Establish KPIs to measure process performance and identify process improvement opportunities. Build KPI dashboards within the S&OP software environment.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree in a technical, supply chain, business, or finance discipline; or a master’s degree with internship experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks/projects. Experience building processes from scratch is highly valued.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated passion for results, strategy, and ownership, leading to effective execution.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-first mentality to foster a collaborative environment for identifying opportunities, resolving problems, developing best practices, and achieving optimal results.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as organizational and program management capabilities.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with coding languages and analytics tools (ERP systems (SAP or equivalent), Tableau, Aera Technologies, Python, R, or MatLab).
