Job Description

This is a dynamic Safety Intern or Co-op opportunity for students passionate about creating safe, efficient, and high-performing job sites within the construction industry.

As a Safety Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working directly with experienced safety professionals and project leaders on real heavy civil construction projects located along the East Coast.

What You’ll Do:
Collaborate with safety specialists to actively promote a strong culture of safety on job sites.
Assist in training employees on essential safety techniques and established protocols.
Gain Experience in both field operations and project office settings, offering a comprehensive view of safety management.
Contribute to the development and implementation of real-world solutions aimed at protecting workers and enhancing operational efficiency.

Who They’re Looking For:
Education: Students who have successfully completed their sophomore or junior year in an Occupational Safety and Health, Construction, or Engineering academic program.
Skills: Strong communication abilities, a genuine passion for learning, and a forward-thinking mindset.
Experience (Preferred): Prior construction or safety internship experience is highly valued.
Certifications (Plus): Holding certifications such as OSHA 10-Hour, First Aid, and CPR.
Language (Bonus): Spanish bilingual skills are considered a significant advantage.
