What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Prototype, test, and refine robotics and mechatronics solutions for next-generation consumer products.
• Support: Aid the development and validation of robotic systems through hands-on experimentation, testing, and data analysis.
• Collaborate: Work with Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Systems, Test, and Quality Engineering teams to optimize integrated product performance.
• Evaluate: Build and assess prototypes while validating system performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Present: Deliver project updates, technical findings, and recommendations to engineering stakeholders and SharkNinja leaders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate program in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field, or have graduated from such a program within the past year. Career level: Student.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience with mechatronic or robotic system design and development through academic, research, competition, startup, internship, or professional projects. Experience with cross-functional projects involving mechanical, electrical, and software components. Hands-on experience building prototypes and conducting experimental testing.
• Skills: Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks and/or Creo), integrating sensors, actuators, motors, embedded software, and electronics into electromechanical systems, first-principles thinking, strong communication skills.
• Bonus: Intellectual curiosity and creativity, a positive can-do attitude, ability to identify and develop robust solutions, comfort multitasking, and an ability to respond quickly to shifting priorities.
