The TL;DR

• Pay: $20.58–$27.36 hourly

What You’ll Actually Do
• Problem Solving: Engage in problem-solving projects following a standardized problem-solving process (PSR).
• Process Improvement: Participate in small teams focused on value stream mapping (VSM) and Kaizen process improvement initiatives.
• System Development: Support the development of a comprehensive site-level deployment of Reworld’s Lean Operating System, including training curation.
• Data Analysis: Analyze raw data and provide results to help leaders draw conclusions from information.
• Dashboard Creation: Create visual dashboards using Microsoft Power BI where reoccurring analysis is required.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience required beyond active enrollment in a relevant degree program.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills for raw data interpretation, proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for dashboard creation, and effective communication in a collaborative and safety-oriented environment.
• Bonus: Opportunity to take Lean Practitioner Training (approx. 40 hours through Gemba Academy) and potentially achieve Lean Practitioner certification.
