Revenue Team Analyst | Wilson Elser

The Tone:
This is a part-time, in-office role at Wilson Elser, located in Madison, NJ, requiring 21 hours per week over three days. Wilson Elser is a national law firm with over 1,400 attorneys across 46 offices, recognized among the top 100 law firms in the U.S. This role is crucial for supporting the firm’s Revenue Team by ensuring accurate tracking, analysis, and reconciliation of client accounts, contributing directly to the financial health and operational efficiency of the firm. The position is suitable for both recent college graduates and experienced professionals seeking to develop their skills within a professional services environment.

• Mission: Support the Revenue Team by tracking client statuses, analyzing invoice stages, and summarizing current client accounts receivables.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Track client statuses, analyze various invoice stages, and summarize current client accounts receivables for the Revenue Team.
• Reconcile: Analyze payments from electronically submitted invoices, participate in appeal and write-off processes, and reconcile payment applications using historical data.
• Communicate: Produce professional written documents such as emails, letters, and memos that clearly convey simple and complex issues related to outstanding balances.
• Record: Accurately record all activities and interactions within the assigned firm database.
• Inform: Regularly update management on all progress and significant developments concerning primary responsibilities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or a High School Diploma/GED equivalent. This role is open to recent college graduates, current college students, or experienced candidates with hands-on accounts receivable experience.
• Experience: Proven experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel. Required Excel skills include creating basic worksheets, data entry and formatting, using basic formulas like SUM, identifying, sorting, and filtering data, adjusting worksheet appearance, and proficiency with VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and conditional formatting.
• Skills: Ability to prioritize and organize tasks in a high-volume setting, strong verbal and written communication, clear collaboration skills with internal and external clients, commitment to top-tier service, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to read cursive.
• Bonus: Experience in law firms or professional services with an understanding of the law firm revenue cycle and related processes.
