Revenue Cycle Business Office Manager | SanStone Health & Rehabilitation

The Tone:

The TL;DR

• Mission: Oversee financial and administrative operations to ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and regulatory compliance while supporting residents and families with financial matters.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft, billing software

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Management: Manage accounts receivable, overseeing resident billing for Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and private pay accounts.
• Claims Processing: Prepare, submit, and monitor claims to various carriers, actively following up on unpaid balances and resolving rejections or denials.
• Resident Financial Support: Coordinate financial aspects of admissions, assist residents and families with inquiries, and manage accurate resident trust accounts.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA, state, and federal billing regulations, maintaining organized records for audits.
• Office & Team Leadership: Oversee receptionist scheduling and develop efficient office workflows to support overall facility operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Managerial experience in revenue cycle operations within healthcare, demonstrating a friendly, detail-oriented approach.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in healthcare billing and collections in long-term care or skilled nursing, with specific experience in Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing perspectives.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing processes; proficiency in Microsoft and billing software; excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Bonus: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, or a related field.
