Revenue Accountant | Global Medical Response
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Global Medical Response, located in Lewisville, TX, operating on a hybrid schedule. The Revenue Accountant plays a crucial part in the preparation of accurate financial statements, the execution of the month-end general ledger close, and detailed account analysis, directly contributing to the financial integrity and operational understanding of the organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly internal financial statements for specific affiliated companies.
• Account Management: Reconcile balance sheet accounts and develop monthly support schedules and account analyses.
• General Ledger Close: Work collaboratively with region accounting personnel to complete the general ledger close process monthly.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze actual to budget variances and present findings during monthly region review meetings.
• Process Improvement: Assist in streamlining and improving the efficiency of the monthly general ledger close process and contribute to the development of accounting policies.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or another applicable business degree is required, along with a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience: Internship, co‑op, or academic project experience in accounting or finance. Requires exposure to invoicing, billing, or basic accounting math, and coursework involving bookkeeping, financial statements, or auditing. Experience with general ledger close for multiple entities, financial reporting, account analysis, and account reconciliation is preferred.
• Skills: Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, proficiency with Microsoft Access and Word, and effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Bonus: Ability to be a self-starter and develop analysis of accounts and financial statements with limited supervision, and the capacity to work effectively with others in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
