What You’ll Actually Do
• Close Support: Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue accounting close processes for assigned areas.
• Financial Preparation: Prepare monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and flux analysis for revenue and accounts receivable related accounts.
• Accounts Receivable: Manage full accounts receivable processes for committed customers, including invoice preparation, collections, and reserve recommendations.
• Customer Billing: Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, taxation, and completion of invoicing prerequisites.
• Order-to-Cash: Manage the order-to-cash process, reviewing contracts, syncing opportunities from SalesForce to Netsuite, and setting up sales orders for proper revenue recognition and compliance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor of Science degree in Finance or Accounting. Mid-level professional with a foundation in general and revenue accounting principles.
• Experience: At least 3 years of accounting experience, including 1 to 3 years specifically in revenue accounting. Required experience with Netsuite or a similar ERP system.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Demonstrated strong time management, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to be results-focused while meeting weekly and monthly billing deadlines.
• Bonus: CPA certification with Big 4 experience. Experience with Stripe, Salesforce, and FloQast. Experience with usage-based or consumption-based revenue models.
