The TL;DR
• Mission: Ensures customers receive excellent service and that the retail environment remains organized, safe, and secure.
• Tech Stack: Zebra phone, telephone, paging system, copiers, fax machines, computers, CCTV surveillance system, key cutter, panel saw, paint mixer, flooring cutters, compactor baler, tool rental equipment

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Engagement: Provide SMART customer service by actively seeking customers, understanding their needs, and assisting with product location, demonstration, selection, carrying, and loading.
• Knowledge Sharing: Listen attentively and respond promptly and accurately to customer and associate questions, guiding customers to store areas and providing project guidance.
• Store Operations & Safety: Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards, conduct daily safety reviews, address hazards, maintain clear aisles, and secure doors and gates.
• Product & Program Support: Communicate detailed information to customers regarding product stock, special order merchandise, features, benefits, applications, and warranty details.
• Equipment Operation: Operate various store equipment as required by the specific role and department.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An early career professional focused on providing exceptional customer service, understanding customer needs, and maintaining retail operational standards.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of experience using a computer for data input and retrieval, utilizing common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets, and performing retail tasks including product sales, customer assistance, relationship building, issue resolution, and store maintenance.
• Skills: Computer proficiency, retail technology acumen, strong customer service application, basic security awareness, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law.
