Barista – Roast Coffee House – D (Atlanta Airport) | Concessions International

Concessions International operates various food and beverage establishments within airport settings, aiming to provide quality service to travelers. This Barista position is crucial for the daily functioning of Roast Coffee House, directly impacting customer satisfaction and the efficient operation of the restaurant.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Serve Customers: Provide outstanding service by creating a friendly environment, greeting and acknowledging every customer, and delivering solid product knowledge.
• Prepare Beverages and Food: Brew coffee beverages, understand brewing concepts and coffee bean/water quality to create appealing drinks, and cook food product according to recipes.
• Manage Restaurant Operations: Perform comprehensive opening and closing duties, including food preparation, stocking and rotating product, setting up displays, and properly storing items.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the overall cleanliness of the restaurant by performing tasks such as trash removal, dishwashing, sweeping, mopping floors, and cleaning tables, countertops, prep areas, display cases, and equipment.
• Handle Cash Transactions: Operate the cash register, process cash, charge, traveler’s checks, and voucher sales, verify register balances, and complete appropriate paperwork at opening and closing.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: One to three months of related experience and/or training in a similar role.
• Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, effectively communicate in English (written and verbal), understand mathematical operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide), and apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Bonus: Availability to work flexible hours and a flexible work week is required.
