Job Description:

The Restaurant Associate position at Donatos is a high-energy, customer-focused role responsible for serving customers and producing high-quality food. The workday can vary and may include mid-shifts, closing shifts, weekday/weekend shifts, and holidays. Specific duties include food preparation, stocking, cleaning, making salads and subs, topping pizzas, and working the register.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting and welcoming customers in the lobby or drive-thru.
• Preparing food, stocking, and pre-topping pizzas.
• Preparing for the next shift by stocking prep tables and freezer pulls.
• Using the cash register to take orders, handle cash, and balance the register.
• Maintaining restaurant cleanliness by cleaning and mopping the lobby, restrooms, and kitchen.
• Folding pizza boxes.
• Communicating with customers, co-workers, and managers in person or on the phone.
• Taking customer orders over the phone.
• Suggestively selling items to customers.
• Offering refills, providing plates and napkins, and answering customer questions.
• Following food safety guidelines.
• Preparing subs, pizzas, and salads according to recipes.

• Base pay: $10.00/hour, average tips up to an additional $3/hour

Requirements:

• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position safely while meeting productivity standards.
• Able to stand and/or walk the entire shift.
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Occasional bending and twisting.
• Must be 14 years or older. Minors are required to provide authorization to work.
