Residential Facilities & Operations Manager | Optimum Performance Institute Houston

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Optimum Performance Institute Houston, located in Stafford and Needville, TX. Optimum Performance Institute Houston operates a residential behavioral health program tailored for young adults aged 18–28. This role is crucial for ensuring that all properties are safe, organized, and run smoothly, and that transportation services are reliable. The Residential Facilities & Operations Manager directly impacts the well-being and support provided to clients and staff through diligent oversight of facilities and vehicles.

• Mission: This role ensures the safety, functionality, and compliance of facilities and transportation services for a residential behavioral health program.

What You’ll Actually Do
Facility Oversight: Oversee maintenance, repairs, and daily operations for residential homes, apartments, and office locations.
Vendor Coordination: Coordinate and manage contractors, vendors, and service providers for all essential facility maintenance, including landscaping, housekeeping, plumbing, and electrical work.
Vehicle Management: Manage the organization’s vehicle fleet, which includes scheduling inspections, maintenance, administering fuel cards, overseeing transportation logistics, and ensuring safety.
Safety & Compliance: Conduct routine facility, vehicle, and safety inspections, address maintenance concerns promptly, and ensure buildings have appropriate safety and emergency equipment.
Operational Planning: Support emergency preparedness and accreditation efforts, track facility needs, inventory equipment, monitor vendor performance, and collaborate with leadership on budgeting and long-term improvements.

The Must-Haves
Background: Manager-level experience in facilities management, operations management, property management, or maintenance management.
Experience: Proven experience coordinating a diverse range of vendors, contractors, and service providers.
Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently; a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; and the ability to lift, carry, push, and move equipment and supplies as needed.
Bonus: CPR/First Aid certification or a willingness to obtain certification after hire.
