Job Description

This role involves a blend of market/product research, experimental work, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration within a healthcare solutions environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Market and Product Research: Design and execute market or product research plans to effectively assess market status, trends, or product characteristics as required by research goals.
Research and Experimentation: Conduct assigned research or experiments using appropriate software, equipment, techniques, tools, and protocols agreed upon with the supervisor. This role requires moderate supervision and demonstrates the ability to independently plan and carry out daily work.
Scheduling and Routines: Independently plan research schedules according to the company’s timetable and establish daily or weekly routines to meet project timelines.
Data Management and Analysis: Accurately record experimental data following established procedures, perform calculations, evaluate results, make recommendations based on findings, and maintain thorough records of work.
Scientific Application: Regularly apply scientific theory to draw conclusions based on data analysis.
Reporting: Prepare standard research reports and memos.
Collaboration and Contribution: Participate in literature reviews, attend team meetings, and contribute to the overall research objectives of product management.
Innovation and Development: Participate in brainstorming sessions, workshops, and meetings to ideate, develop, and refine innovative healthcare solutions.
Cross-functional Engagement: Engage with multidisciplinary teams, including R&D, regulatory affairs, and marketing, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the product development lifecycle from concept to market.
Trend Analysis: Conduct research and analysis on current trends in healthcare technology and contribute to the development of white papers or reports on potential innovation opportunities.
Other Duties: Perform other duties as responsibilities necessitate.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess specific academic qualifications, strong interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and organizational abilities.

Required Qualifications:
Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate-level educational program, majoring in Microbiology, PreMed, Biology, or a related degree. While graduate students are preferred, undergraduate Junior and Senior level students will also be considered.
Teamwork: Demonstrates strong team player qualities, capable of working and communicating closely with a multidisciplinary team.
Attitude: Possesses an eager-to-learn attitude.
Communication: Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and with external customers.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational Skills: Good organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Target Market Salary Range
The estimated annual compensation for this position ranges from $41,600 to $62,400. Actual compensation packages are highly individualized and take into account various factors unique to each candidate, such as geographic location, specific skill sets, relevant education and certifications, depth of experience, performance, and other business and organizational needs. This disclosed estimate has not been adjusted for potential geographic differentials based on the position’s location. Envista notes that it is not typical for individuals to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each case.

The total compensation package for this position may also include additional benefits such as an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, a 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
