These internships offer a dynamic environment for aspiring research professionals to work alongside leading researchers, applied scientists, and engineers. Interns will contribute to advancing the state-of-the-art in machine learning.

Responsibilities:**
Research Interns will:
• Put inquiry and theory into practice, collaborating with doctoral candidates and experienced researchers.
• Learn, collaborate, and network within a vibrant research community.
• Contribute to exciting research and development advancements.
• Work with a mentor and collaborate with other interns and researchers.
• Present research findings.
• Participate actively in the research community.
Internship Details:**
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Available year-round, with typical start dates in the summer.
• Interns are expected to be physically located at the Microsoft worksite in New England for the duration of the internship.
Currently pursuings:**
• Required: Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science or a related STEM field. Submission of a minimum of two reference letters, a cover letter, and relevant work/research samples is required.
• Preferred: Demonstrated ability to develop original research agendas; effective collaboration with researchers and product development teams; proficient interpersonal skills and cross-cultural collaboration.
Compensation:**
• Base pay range: USD $6,550 – $12,880 per month (USD $8,480 – $13,920 per month in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan areas).
