Job Description:
This role involves conducting market/product research and experiments to assess market trends and product characteristics. Responsibilities include:
• Designing and carrying out market or product research plans.
• Conducting assigned research or experiments using appropriate software, equipment, techniques, tools, and protocols.
• Independently planning a research schedule and establishing daily/weekly routines to meet project timelines.
• Recording experimental data, making calculations, evaluating results, making recommendations, and maintaining accurate records.
• Applying scientific theory to reach conclusions based on data analysis.
• Preparing standard research reports and memos.
• Participating in literature reviews, team meetings, and contributing to overall research objectives.
• Participating in brainstorming sessions, workshops, and meetings to ideate, develop, and refine innovative healthcare solutions.
• Engaging with multidisciplinary teams (R&D, regulatory affairs, marketing) to understand the product development lifecycle.
• Conducting research and analysis on current trends in healthcare technology and contributing to the development of white papers or reports on potential innovation opportunities.
• Performing other duties as responsibilities necessitate.
Job Requirements:
• Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate-level educational program majoring in Microbiology, PreMed, Biology or a related degree. Graduate student preferred, but undergraduate Junior and Senior level students will be considered.
• Great team player, working and communicating closely with a multidisciplinary team.
• Eager to learn attitude.
• Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational/time management skills. Ability to prioritize.
