Equity Research Associate – Connectivity Semiconductors & Networking | TD Securities
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at TD Securities, located in New York, New York. This role provides essential market research support, contributing high-quality, comprehensive analysis and research on individual corporations, industries, financial markets, and economic developments, which is critical for client advice and internal decision-making.

• Mission: This person compiles and publishes comprehensive analysis and research on assigned corporations, industries, financial markets, and economic developments.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Research & Analysis: Compile, analyze, and evaluate data for assigned companies, industries, financial markets, and economic analysis research reports.
• Financial Modeling: Assist in developing valuation tools and preparing forecasting models for quarterly and annual earnings, while maintaining financial models and databases.
• Report Publication: Work closely with senior research leads on the ongoing publication of research reports, including initiating coverage, thematic reports, and quarterly updates.
• Client Engagement: Develop and maintain contact with market participants and may interact with clients, developing and presenting client presentations.
• Market Monitoring: Stay current on market data, economic information, and key industry developments, as well as internal policies and regulatory standards.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate degree. This is an expert-level professional role requiring in-depth knowledge in a specialized domain.
• Experience: 2+ years related experience.
• Skills: Data analysis and modeling, financial market and economic analysis, research report compilation and writing, valuation and forecasting, and understanding of regulatory standards.
• Bonus: FINRA SIE, Series 63, 86 & 87 (or willing to obtain). Holds or is working towards a CFA designation preferred for publishing analysts and associates. Masters or PhD preferred.
