What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare & Analyze: Prepare and analyze detailed investment reports to provide crucial financial insights and performance overviews directly to investors.
• Support Marketing: Assist in the thorough preparation and meticulous review of high-quality marketing and fundraising materials, ensuring accuracy and alignment with firm standards.
• Facilitate Investor Relations: Coordinate seamlessly across various internal departments to efficiently collect and review investor and distributor due diligence requests, providing timely and accurate responses to investor queries.
• Track Performance: Systematically coordinate the collection and in-depth analysis of key performance metrics for diverse assets, including specific funds, their underlying companies, and other managed portfolios.
• Produce Strategic Content: Assist in the preparation and review of bespoke, customized fund performance analyses, and draft impactful presentations and strategic analyses tailored for senior management review.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required. This position is suited for an early career professional who possesses foundational knowledge in investor reporting, investment operations, or consulting within the financial services sector.
• Experience: Candidates must bring 3-5 years of dedicated experience in related areas such as investor reporting, investment operations, or financial consulting. Essential experience includes the creation and management of marketing materials specifically within a financial services context.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in critical office productivity tools is a must, specifically strong command over Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting, and Microsoft PowerPoint for developing compelling presentations.
• Bonus: Prior experience gained at a Big 4 accounting or consulting firm is considered a significant advantage, highlighting a strong understanding of financial rigor and professional standards.
