Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity – Behavioral Health | Pembroke Hospital

This is an early career opportunity for Registered Nurses at Pembroke Hospital, an acute care inpatient behavioral health facility located south of Boston, MA. Pembroke Hospital provides compassionate care in a supportive environment, focusing on assessing, stabilizing, and treating teens, adults, and older adults. This role is vital to a multidisciplinary team committed to understanding and making a difference in patients’ lives through dedicated care.
The TL;DR

• Type: Day Shift: Full Time (40 or 32 hours/week), Part Time (24 hours/week)
• Location: In-person, Pembroke, MA
• Team: Multidisciplinary treatment team
• Mission: To assess, stabilize, and treat patients by addressing their primary symptoms and problems within a safe and therapeutic behavioral health environment.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Environment Safety: Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Patient Needs: Consistently identify and address patient needs.
• Patient Care: Provide general and psychiatric patient care.
• Intervention Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
• Behavior Documentation: Document and communicate unusual changes in client behaviors.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Current MA RN License (or eligible to receive or renew); Early Career professional seeking a role in behavioral health.
• Experience: New graduates are welcome to apply; ability to work with culturally and generationally diverse populations (training provided).
• Skills: Psychiatric group processes, age-specific care, trauma-informed care, therapeutic boundaries, crisis intervention techniques.
