Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health Opportunity

Pembroke Hospital is actively seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) for day shift opportunities (7am-3pm) in our Behavioral Health facility. We welcome both experienced professionals and new graduates to apply!

About Pembroke Hospital

Pembroke Hospital is a 120-bed acute care, inpatient behavioral health facility situated on 26 acres south of Boston, in Pembroke, MA. We provide inpatient and partial hospitalization treatment to teens, adults, and older adults. Our services are designed to assess, stabilize, and treat patients by addressing their primary symptoms and problems. At Pembroke Hospital, our core mission revolves around patient care, deeply listening to and understanding each patient’s story to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Positions Available for New Graduates

We are currently hiring for the following day shift positions:

  • Full Time: 40 or 32 hours/week
  • Part Time: 24 hours/week

Role of the Registered Nurse (RN)

As a Registered Nurse at Pembroke Hospital, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary treatment team. You will receive proper training to work with culturally and generationally diverse populations, addressing their individual needs. Training will cover essential areas such as:

  • Psychiatric group processes
  • Age-specific care
  • Trauma-informed care
  • Therapeutic boundaries
  • Crisis intervention techniques

Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients.
  • Consistently identifying and addressing patient needs.
  • Providing comprehensive general and psychiatric patient care.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of interventions and adjusting care plans as necessary.
  • Documenting and communicating any unusual changes in client behaviors promptly and accurately.
