Registered Nurse (RN) – New Graduate | Select Specialty Hospital

The TL;DR
• Role: Early Career
• Type: Full-Time Day Shift, 12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
• Location: Davenport, IA
• Pay: $39.38 per hour plus shift differentials for weekends
• Mission: To provide compassionate and excellent treatment and support for chronically, critically ill patients recovering from critical illnesses.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Patient Care Plan Implementation: Assure the implementation, evaluation, and follow-up of the assessment plan and plan of care for the patient population.
• Patient Needs Assessment: Initiate an ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs of patients and their families.
• Nursing Care Plan Development: Interpret assessment data to develop a nursing care plan that includes problem identification, nursing diagnosis, orders, approaches, interventions, short/long-term goals, and discharge planning.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Participate as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of rehabilitation goals.
• Documentation Accuracy: Assure that documents in the medical record are complete, factual, accurate, and timely.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduate of an accredited program for registered nursing.
• Experience: Flexibility of scheduling to complete the requirements of the new graduate orientation program.
• Skills: Valid State RN License required (may apply before licensed, but must have upon start date), Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.
