What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide Nursing Care: Deliver comprehensive nursing care and case management to students across multiple school sites located between Bakersfield and Tehachapi, CA.
• Develop Healthcare Plans: Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop individualized healthcare plans and support student wellness.
• Manage Records & Care: Monitor and manage student health records, medication administration, and emergency care as needed.
• Educate and Advocate: Advocate for student health needs and provide health education to students and staff.
• Facilitate Communication: Facilitate communication between school personnel and families regarding student health concerns.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of California.
• Experience: Experience providing direct nursing care in a professional setting.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, effective communication skills, ability to manage a diverse caseload, ability to travel between multiple school locations within the High Desert region.
• Bonus: Previous experience working as a School Nurse or in school-based case management.
