We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Mercy. This vital role utilizes the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care, maintain professional accountability, and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain professional accountability in all aspects of practice.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  • Ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld according to established policies and ethical standards.
  • Support Mercy’s mission, values, and service standards through exemplary practice.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the hiring state or a compact license.
  • Must meet all state board requirements for nursing practice.

Certifications:

  • Required: BLS (AHA – Basic Life Support from American Heart Association) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Unit-specific certifications may include (as required by the specific department):
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
    • ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
    • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
    • PEARS (Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization)
    • S.T.A.B.L.E. Program
    • C-EFM (Competency in Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
    • OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
    • CPHON (Certified Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse)
    • Or other specialized certifications pertinent to the unit.
