The Tone:
This is a full-time, remote role at Diversified Brokerage Services (DBS), part of NFP, with required travel across California and Hawaii. DBS is one of the largest brokerage general agencies specializing in life insurance, serving insurance agents, brokers, and financial advisors. This role is crucial for expanding DBS’s market presence by acquiring and growing relationships with individual brokers, producer groups, and national accounts, driving significant business expansion in a key, established territory.

• Mission: Acquire and grow relationships with individual brokers, producer groups, and national accounts to secure life insurance products for their clients and achieve production goals.
• Tech Stack: MS Office Suite, Salesforce (or similar CRM), Concur (or related expense management)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Account Strategy: Implement key account strategies, including Gold Sheets, action plans, and strategic marketing plans, across all accounts.
• Relationship Growth: Develop existing broker and account relationships while actively recruiting new brokers and accounts into the agency.
• Internal Reporting: Regularly communicate the status of accounts and pertinent issues to the DBS team, especially during the onboarding process.
• Market Acumen: Continuously develop and maintain deep industry, concept, carrier, and product knowledge to better serve clients.
• Sales Performance: Meet or exceed production goals for both acquired and assigned accounts within the designated region.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Past sales and relationship management experience in the life insurance industry is required.
• Experience: FINRA Series 6 or 7, or 63 is required, along with a Life and Health License.
• Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite, Salesforce (or similar CRM), and Concur (or related expense management). Demonstrated leadership, organizational skills, flexibility, and strong written and oral communication.
• Bonus: A college degree or other higher education is preferred.
