MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and professional Recycling & Warehouse Associate to join our Recycling & Warehouse – Mills team! Job Details:

• Required Travel: 0%
• Position Type: Hourly Full-Time
• Hourly Rate: $15.50
• Bonus Pay: Up to $250/month

Qualifications:

• No degree is required. A High School Diploma/GED is preferred.
• The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Necessary math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

• Handles all donations with care and respect.
• Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves products to designated areas.
• Ensures inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Reports quality variances.
• Pulls and prepares products for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and product type are loaded and shipped.
• Performs picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
• Efficiently moves product from staging and storage areas into trailers.
• Sorts donated goods and purchased goods into categories: sales floor, seasonal, online sales, salvage, and trash, according to established guidelines.
• Uses machinery safely and appropriately to tip or compact designated products for sale or recycling.
• Maintains high quality and high quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
• Establishes and maintains positive and professional relationships with team members and leadership.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assists in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as required.
• Keeps appropriate records and reports to maintain tight inventory control and security.
• Safeguards company property and personal information from harm, damage, or theft. Reports any incidents of theft, misappropriation, unethical/inappropriate behavior, or unauthorized possession of company property to a member of management, Human Resources, Risk Management, or employee hotline.
• Must adhere to all MERS/Goodwill policies, Goodwill Retail procedures, and safety and security regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
