This Recycle Team Member role is crucial for supporting Clayton’s sustainability efforts by managing recycling operations and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Collection: Collect, sort, and transport recyclable materials throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Recycling Management: Manage recycling containers and ensure timely removal of recyclable materials, coordinating pickups with vendors.
• Facility Upkeep: Maintain recycling areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition, supporting plant housekeeping initiatives.
• Documentation & Compliance: Complete required documentation and reports related to recycling operations and follow all company safety procedures and environmental regulations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or GED preferred, with previous experience in manufacturing, warehousing, recycling, or material handling.
• Experience: Ability to obtain forklift certification is required.
• Skills: Ability to work independently, strong attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Bonus: Basic computer and recordkeeping skills are preferred, along with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
