The TL;DR

• Location: In-person, San Jose, CA
• Pay: $20–$22 hourly
• Team: HR Team
• Mission: Support the HR team in attracting, screening, and coordinating candidates to meet the staffing needs of the growing education sector.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, Calendly, Greenhouse (preferred)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Candidate Sourcing: Source and screen potential candidates through various channels to build a diverse and talented pool of applicants for job openings.
• Interview Coordination: Assist in the coordination of interview processes, including scheduling, preparing materials, and collecting feedback.
• Strategy Collaboration: Collaborate with the HR team to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Record Management: Maintain accurate and current candidate records in the applicant tracking system and company logs.
• Job Content Creation: Assist in the development of job descriptions and postings for platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, and Handshake.
• Project Support: Support human resources initiatives and projects as needed by the team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; new graduates are also welcome to apply.
• Experience: No specific years of experience required. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems such as Greenhouse is preferred.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail, ability to multitask, strong sense of discretion and confidentiality.
• Bonus: Eagerness to learn and contribute to the recruitment process, milk tea connoisseur.
