• Mission: To research, recruit, screen, interview, and refer qualified candidates for exempt and non-exempt positions, ensuring adherence to employment practices and company policies.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Candidate Acquisition & Management: Research, recruit, screen, interview, and refer qualified candidates for assigned exempt and non-exempt positions, coordinating necessary travel for candidates.
• Strategic Partnering & Needs Assessment: Collaborate with managers and supervisors to identify specific recruiting needs, including required knowledge, skills, abilities, and other qualifications, aligning with plant and campus strategic directions.
• Offer Negotiation & Relocation: Negotiate salary and relocation offers to achieve mutually beneficial relationships for the company and prospective employees, and make relocation arrangements for new employees in accordance with Jabil policies.
• Sourcing Strategy & Best Practices: Develop and execute advertising strategies across various platforms, build a network of agency contacts, and identify and share “best practice” internet recruiting techniques with the team.
• Compliance, Improvement & Cost Reduction: Ensure all clerical procedures comply with Federal, State, and EEOC requirements, while continuously driving improvement through trend analysis, metric management, and cost-reducing process streamlining.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university with a general understanding of Jabil Circuit’s personnel policy and procedures.
• Experience: Two to five years of experience in recruiting, demonstrating considerable skill in interviewing techniques.
• Skills: Interviewing techniques, knowledge of manufacturing and specialized company functions, understanding of federal and state employment laws, strategic recruiting (ad development, internet sourcing), and negotiation of offers.
• Bonus: PHR or Human Resource Management Certification desired.
