Receiving Clerk | FirstService Residential

• Mission: To maintain the efficiency, safety, and security of the receiving area, freight elevator, and contractor access for a residential association.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Oversee Receiving Operations: Manage the receiving area and freight elevator, ensuring the area remains safe, orderly, clean, and never blocked or unattended.
• Manage Access and Security: Verify licenses, insurances, and permits for all service providers and contractors, issuing parking passes and ID passes as approved.
• Coordinate Resident Services: Schedule the freight elevator for residents moving in and out, adhering to Association Policy, and register all incoming deliveries and packages.
• Enforce Regulations: Ensure parking regulations and the rules and regulations of the Association are followed by all individuals accessing the property.
• Maintain Records and Reports: Monitor the coming and going of contractors through logs, complete required reports, and requisition necessary materials, tools, and supplies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or equivalency is preferred, with a focus on administrative support and operational oversight within a residential or similar environment.
• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, demonstrating the ability to manage logistical processes and maintain facility standards.
• Skills: Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are required, alongside effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Bonus: Multiple language fluency is desirable.
