This is a full-time rotational early career role at Whirlpool Corporation, a leading home appliance company. The TL;DR

• Mission: Fast-track career trajectory by gaining a strong foundation in brands, sales strategy, merchandising, and operations through a two to three-year rotational program.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Immersive Training: Learn about Whirlpool’s brands, products, consumers, and how the company approaches the market, spending the first three months at global headquarters in Southwest Michigan with provided housing and benefits.
• Territory Sales Representative (TSR): Apply training insights by managing 30+ retail stores in a dedicated geographical territory for 12-18 months, cultivating relationships with retail partners and field leadership, and collaborating to drive strategic initiatives for increased rates of recommendation, sales, and market share of brand products.
• Market Development Representative (MDR): After the TSR role, cultivate relationships with over 50 small to medium-sized dealers in a dedicated geography for 12-18 months, driving sales performance, achieving balance of floor and balance of sale, growing and maintaining the builder pipeline, and driving product mix.
• Career Progression: After successfully completing the MDR role, participants are then afforded the opportunity to progress their career at Whirlpool within a variety of next step roles, including Sales, Marketing, and beyond.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Completion of a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA, Entry-Level career.
• Experience: Must have indefinite US work authorization; applicants requiring visa sponsorship are not eligible.
• Skills: Willingness to travel and relocate domestically, access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs or more with assistance.
• Bonus: Marketing or Sales degree preferred, previous internship experience, previous leadership experience, strong public speaking, facilitation, and influencing skills, and a proven track record of success demonstrated through the articulation of quantitative and qualitative results.
