Real Estate Analyst | Atlas Asset Management

This is a full-time role at Atlas Asset Management, located in Chicago, IL. Atlas Asset Management is a growing property management company focused on operating multifamily rental properties on the South Side of Chicago. This role supports both portfolio performance and investment activity, helping senior leadership translate complex financial data into clear insights and recommendations to improve residents’ quality of life and strengthen communities. What You’ll Actually Do
• Performance Analysis: Analyze operating performance across the multifamily portfolio, reviewing financial statements, rent rolls, and collections to identify trends and performance drivers.
• Investment Support: Build and maintain financial models and proformas to support underwriting for acquisitions and refinances, evaluating future property and loan opportunities.
• Capital Projects: Track and analyze capital expenditures, supporting construction-related financial reporting, documentation, and assisting with escrow releases and draw tracking.
• Reporting & Data: Prepare reports for internal leadership and external lenders, maintaining clean, accurate datasets across financial and operational systems.
• Operational Support: Remove administrative and analytical burden for senior leadership and contribute to the continued development of asset management and reporting processes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field; entry-level career stage with a strong numerical aptitude.
• Experience: Comfort working with large datasets; finance and/or real estate background is strongly preferred.
• Skills: Confident analytical thinking, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication, ability to work through incomplete information.
• Bonus: Experience with real estate, financial, or data systems.
