The Tone:

The role is instrumental in creating and enhancing modern, responsive, and accessible user interfaces for millions of users annually. The platform leverages a Drupal WCMS backend with a React front-end, aiming to deliver high-performance digital experiences.

• Mission: Design, implement, and integrate front-end React applications, ensuring compliance with federal accessibility and web standards.

What You’ll Actually Do
• UI Development: Develop and maintain React-based front-end applications for a public-facing digital platform.
• Component Design: Design and implement reusable UI components that contribute to a modern user experience.
• System Integration: Integrate front-end applications seamlessly with REST APIs and various backend services.
• Accessibility Compliance: Ensure all user interfaces strictly comply with federal Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards.
• Team Collaboration: Actively participate in Agile sprint development cycles, collaborating with UX designers, backend developers, and product stakeholders.

• Background: Candidates at various experience levels, from Junior to Senior, focused on front-end web development.
• Experience: Practical experience developing and maintaining React-based front-end applications.
