What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare Estimates: Create detailed, itemized cost estimates for various products or bid requests submitted by customers.
• Product Consultation: Collaborate with the sales team, contractors, engineers, and purchasing department to determine the most suitable products for specific project requirements.
• Secure Best Costs: Interact directly with manufacture representatives to obtain the most competitive and accurate cost information available.
• Process Management: Manage the entire quote process, ensuring all necessary supporting documentation is thoroughly received, compiled, and submitted within defined company guidelines.
• Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers, consistently delivering excellent service by providing timely pricing, delivery details, and order information.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. A high school diploma or equivalent is required to qualify for this role.
• Experience: While no specific number of years is explicitly stated as mandatory, 1 year of experience in customer service or order processing is preferred for candidates.
• Skills: Candidates must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail, and proficient computer skills. This includes intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word or equivalent applications. The ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment is also essential.
