Job Description:
This is a Quant Researcher (Conversion) role targeting PhD graduates within their first few years post-graduation. The ideal candidate will have applied research experience outside of traditional quant finance and be seeking a transition into the field. The role involves working on projects based on the candidate’s strengths and interests, focusing on:
• Building and optimizing new cutting-edge platforms: This includes back-testing, research, and execution of quantitative trading strategies.
• Developing predictive models: Creating models for automated investment and designing and developing trading platforms.
• Performance optimization: Improving the efficiency and robustness of existing systems and developing intelligent solutions to problems.
• Innovation: Introducing and implementing new ideas and approaches.

Skills and Experience:
• Essential: Python experience, applied research experience, and a demonstrable outside interest in technology (e.g., attending meetups, working on personal projects, maintaining a blog). A PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field is required. A strong personality is also emphasized.
• Beneficial: Internships as a Quant Developer or Researcher in finance.
