Quality Systems and Business Process Software Engineer Co-Op – Fall 2026 | Entegris

The Tone:
This is a co-op position at Entegris, located in Aurora, IL. Entegris applies advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world. This role is crucial for supporting, enhancing, and modernizing the company’s global Electronic Quality Management System (EQMS). The Quality Process Systems (QPS) team, which this co-op supports, owns and maintains critical systems and processes that are foundational for compliance and directly impact customers.

• Team: Quality Process Systems (QPS) team, reporting to a Senior Engineer
• Mission: Support, enhance, and modernize Entegris’s global Electronic Quality Management System (EQMS) to ensure system stability, improve workflows, and facilitate data integration.
• Tech Stack: Python, ETQScript, REST APIs, Boomi, SAP connectors, SQL, JSON/XML, Git, Azure DevOps

What You’ll Actually Do
• Troubleshooting: Investigate and diagnose system problems, determine root causes, and develop permanent fixes to ensure stability.
• Enhancement: Improve existing features and develop new functionalities within the EQMS utilizing common software development tools.
• Integration: Assist in integrating EQMS data with other critical business systems to ensure seamless data flow and consistency.
• Project Support: Participate in data cleanup efforts and other project-related activities as needed to support team objectives.
• Technology Application: Apply technologies such as Python, ETQScript, REST APIs, Boomi, SAP connectors, SQL, JSON/XML, Git, or Azure DevOps depending on specific work assignments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A motivated, detail-oriented programmer currently enrolled in an accredited university program, pursuing a Computer Science or similar engineering/technical major, with a graduation year of December 2026 or later.
• Experience: Must be available to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday (8 AM – 5 PM), from June through December 2026, and be familiar with university co-op program requirements.
• Skills: Knowledge of common software development tools and methodologies; knowledge of Python, ETQScript, or SQL.
• Bonus: Familiarity with ETQ, SAP, or Boomi.
