Job Description (Quality Intern – Summer 2026)

This is an opportunity for a Summer Internship Program as a Quality Intern at MacLean-Fogg.

Program Details:
Location: Multiple U.S. Locations (applicants will select preferred locations).
Program Duration: 10 Weeks during Summer 2026.
Pay Range: $18–$25 per hour, based on location, experience, and academic level.

Program Overview:
The program offers real-world exposure to Quality in a manufacturing environment, allowing interns to contribute to meaningful projects from day one. Over 10 weeks, interns will gain:
Hands-on experience in quality systems, inspection, and process improvement.
Mentorship and guidance from experienced industry leaders.
• A professional network across functions and facilities.
Career-ready technical and professional skills.

Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):
As a Quality Intern, you will:
• Assist in conducting product inspections, audits, and testing activities.
• Support the maintenance and improvement of quality management systems (QMS).
Analyze data related to process capability, defects, and corrective actions.
• Partner with engineering and production teams to ensure compliance with standards and customer requirements.
• Complete a capstone intern project and present results to leadership.

Qualifications:
MacLean-Fogg is seeking motivated students who are ready to learn, grow, and contribute.
Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
Academic Standing: Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale).
Preferred Skills: Familiarity with quality tools, root cause analysis, or statistical methods.
Required Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Mindset: Collaborative mindset with a willingness to take initiative.
Availability: Ability to work on-site at one of the company’s locations for the duration of the program.
