This program provides a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals committed to advancing curative gene therapies for devastating diseases.

Position Summary: Quality Control Intern

As a Quality Control Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Quality Control group. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to gain practical experience working in a laboratory setting, developing a variety of skills and knowledge essential for ensuring the quality and safety of our products. You will contribute to critical on-site Quality Control projects, gaining valuable real-world experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with organizing and maintaining the assay file system.
  • Help develop and organize retain and reserve inspections.
  • Participate actively in routine laboratory cleaning and maintenance protocols.
  • Assist in facilitating the proper storage and management of reagents, materials, and consumables within QC laboratories.
  • Contribute to troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts for Quality Control issues.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Warehouse Operations, Facilities, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications:

We are seeking motivated individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Currently a rising junior or senior undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry, Biology, Immunology, or a closely related scientific field.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret standard operation procedures (SOPs) and technical specifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Possess a foundational knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ability to follow instructions diligently and work both independently and as part of a team.
