Responsibilities

Quality Assurance

  • Provides direction and support with Adjoin’s Quality Assurance Program for the Veterans division.
  • Evaluating the Veterans Quality Assurance Program, Participant handbook, and forms as needed.
  • Monitoring to ensure proper procedures are implemented to track QA goals and progress.
  • Ensuring that QA duties and plans are completed, documented, tracked, followed-up and filed as required.

Reporting

  • Travel to satellite office in El Centro quarterly to provide direct QA support, training and monitoring audits as needed.
  • Sharing quarterly SIR trend analysis with the goal of improving practices and identifying training and service needs.
  • Preparing QA quarterly and annual tracking and status reports.
  • Compiles data for annual Operational Summary.
  • Maintains the Critical Incident Reports and follow-ups; submits to program management and Quality Assurance and Database Specialist.

Analysis

  • Conducts Quality Assurance in-person visits and/or phone calls periodically to engage clients and landlords.
  • Prepares a follow-up report to address concerns and room for improvements.
  • Acts as an administrator for Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and Client Management Software for the Veterans Division.
  • Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of data to be entered.
  • Maintains an accurate and efficient internal records management system.

Compliance

  • Monitors data quality via HMIS data quality reports, repository reports, and internal records review.
  • Prepares and submits monthly, quarterly and annual reports in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Conducts VA Repository Uploads.
  • Stays up to date with VA Data Guide and ensures the Veterans Division’s data tracking on HMIS is aligned with VA standards.
  • Ensure all data and documents are handled with the highest standards of confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Requirements

Experience

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Two years equivalent experience and/or educational equivalent in working with vulnerable populations, preferred.
  • Experience managing Client Management Systems or Database Systems.
  • Two years’ equivalent experience working with data reporting for grants, preferred.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Skills

  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal, etc.).
  • Ability to multitask and work in an autonomous environment with limited direction or supervision.
  • Possess strong knowledge and understanding of Adjoin’s service standards.
  • Ability to deliver training material in classroom and online setting to employees.
  • Strong work ethic and desire to work in a fast-paced but highly collaborative team environment.

Certification

  • Certification in an approved First-Aid and CPR class; or successfully complete an approved First-Aid and CPR class within 45 days of hire.
