QC Analytical Information Technology Summer Internship

Program Experience

CSL’s Internship Program is a hands-on experience that showcases the daily innovation and operations of a leading biotechnology company. Our environment is collaborative, global, and purpose-driven. This 12-week experience will immerse students in meaningful, thought-provoking projects that contribute to CSL’s promise to save lives and protect the health of people around the world. In addition to making an impact, students will develop personally and professionally while cultivating meaningful relationships.

Main Responsibilities

An intern will be tasked with the implementation of AI and digital solutions for different quality control groups. Key duties include:

• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with quality control teams to understand their specific needs and requirements, as well as opportunities for the implementation of AI and other digital solutions.
• Design and Development: Create useful bots and identify needs where AI could assist or improve efficiency.
• Back-End Development: Ensure seamless integration with front-end elements.
• Content Management for Website: Assist in creating, organizing, and managing content for a website, ensuring it is relevant and up-to-date.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of digital solutions to identify and fix bugs or issues.
• Compliance: Ensure the digital solutions meet all relevant quality standards and regulations.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of the development process, including code comments, user guides, and technical manuals.
• User Training and Support: Provide training sessions and support to quality control teams on how to use and manage the digital solutions effectively.
• Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from users and implement improvements to enhance the functionality and user experience.
• Project Management: Assist in planning and managing project timelines, ensuring milestones are met, and deliverables are completed on time.

These duties will help ensure the intern gains comprehensive experience in web development while supporting the quality control groups effectively. We will involve them in other areas as they have interest, skills, and time.

Qualifications

• Seeking rising seniors, currently enrolled as a full-time student, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
• Experience with AI tools (CoPilot is ideal).
• GPA of 3.0 or higher (out of a 4.0 scale).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
• Demonstrates flexibility and acceptance of assignments and schedules.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
