• Mission: This person will ensure the general organization, preservation, and cleanliness of Switch facilities, particularly customer spaces, to maintain operational excellence and aesthetic standards.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Maintain facility aesthetics: Perform general facility upkeep and maintenance, including floor, wall, baseboard, and corner guard repairs, and bulb replacements, both inside and outside T-SCIFs.
• Ensure Switch standards: Uphold Switch’s high standards across all facility areas, focusing on customer and employee common areas, data floor, and exterior aesthetics.
• Manage client space: Set up client cages according to defined company standards and perform regular audits on existing client spaces.
• Support facility operations: Assist with materials handling, installation, monitoring facility cleanliness, and coordinating stock deliveries with the warehouse.
• Operate equipment: Utilize basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, and occasionally assist with Facility Maintenance tasks.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Foundational knowledge in facility organization, preservation, and general maintenance practices.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years in production, facilities, mechanical maintenance, or a relevant field. Demonstrated ability with dimensional measurement and understanding schematics related to space layout.
• Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong presentation and customer service skills, proven problem-solving with good initiative and sound judgment, effective time management, and clear communication with team members, management, and customers.
