Barefoot Student operates Diablo City Lifestyle, a luxury community publication dedicated to celebrating the people, businesses, and stories that make Diablo, Danville, Alamo, Blackhawk, and San Ramon exceptional places to live. This direct mail publication and social media presence reaches affluent residences and businesses in the area. This role is crucial for assisting the publisher with sales functions and developing a strong social media presence to connect with the community.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Assist: Help the publisher with various sales functions to support the publication’s outreach.
• Build: Develop and enhance the social media presence for Diablo City Lifestyle.
• Maintain: Ensure social media channels are regularly updated and actively managed.
• Ensure Quality: Proofread, format, and ensure consistency across all digital content.
• Utilize Tools: Comfortably work with online tools, content management systems, and basic productivity software.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student. Core domain knowledge in publishing tasks, sales functions, and social media management.
• Experience: Comfort working with online tools, content management systems, and basic productivity software.
• Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple publishing tasks and deadlines. Attention to detail for proofreading, formatting, and ensuring consistency across digital content. Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with a proactive and initiative-driven mindset.
