Finance Project Controller | Arcadis
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Arcadis, with hybrid work options across the Netherlands, including Rotterdam, Arnhem, Amersfoort, and Zwolle. • Team: Finance and Control team of the Business Area Resilience, reporting to a business controller.
• Mission: Responsible for the financial monitoring of projects to ensure compliance with accounting rules and meet financial KPIs.
• Tech Stack: Oracle, Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Monitor: Be responsible for the financial oversight of projects as an integral part of the project team.
• Manage: Administer the revenue side of projects in the Oracle ERP system, ensuring compliance with accounting rules.
• Present: Clearly communicate cost and revenue developments of projects to project leaders.
• Evaluate: Conduct monthly discussions with project leaders and line managers to verify if projects remain within forecasts, focusing on key financial KPIs.
• Anticipate: Identify bottlenecks early and propose solutions, acting as a sparring partner with room for personal development.
The Must-Haves
• Background: HBO (Higher Professional Education) work level in a financial and/or economic field.
• Experience: Preferably 2 or more years of work experience, preferably with project control within projects.
• Skills: Proficiency in Oracle and Office 365, very good verbal and written communication in both Dutch and English, and the ability to effectively handle resistance.
• Bonus: Affinity with Arcadis’s field of work.
