The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Motorola Solutions, located remotely within the Greater Chicago Area or Greater Boston Area. This role is vital for ensuring software development teams are aligned, accountable, and meeting timelines to deliver market-leading SaaS solutions that help keep communities safer everywhere.

• Pay: $130000–$145000 yearly
• Team: Enterprise Security & Resilience team
• Mission: Ensure software development teams are aligned, accountable, and meeting projected timelines for high-quality SaaS solutions.
• Tech Stack: Smartsheets, Atlassian application (Jira and Confluence), Google suite (Docs, slides, sheets), AI tools

What You’ll Actually Do
• Plan and Oversee: Plan, execute, and oversee technical product build and integration projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Define Scope: Collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Manage Progress: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies, then monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate Communication: Facilitate effective regular standup meetings and track/report on project milestones to ensure transparent communication across teams and leadership.
• Drive Solutions: Partner with Product Management leadership and account teams to provide integration solution configurations that meet customer needs and oversee implementation with customers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in project management, Information Technology, Risk Management, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience with project management practices and methodologies, with demonstrated experience in project management within technical environments.
• Skills: In-depth knowledge of software development and product management methodologies, demonstrated understanding of software architecture, APIs, and integration processes, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bonus: PMP or MBA certification, a proactive and customer-oriented mindset, a demonstrated ability to adapt to changing project requirements, and strong leadership skills.
