The Tone:
This is an internship at ByteDance, supporting its global Real Estate & Facilities team across the Americas Region. This role is crucial for gaining hands-on experience in large-scale corporate real estate operations, contributing to the lifecycle of office development projects, and offering a glimpse into professional real-world experience.

• Team: Real Estate & Facilities (REF) team, working closely with Project Managers
• Mission: Support the lifecycle of office development projects and large-scale corporate real estate operations across the Americas Region.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Design Support: Support the Project Management team in design analysis and technical review processes to ensure project requirements align with company standards.
• Project Monitoring: Assist in tracking project schedules and monitoring budgets to ensure timely delivery and financial accountability.
• Financial Coordination: Coordinate the end-to-end payment process, including reviewing invoices, tracking change orders, and reconciling costs with internal finance systems.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between REF, various internal stakeholders, and external partners to drive project alignment and resolve potential bottlenecks.
• Reporting & Tracking: Maintain project dashboards and logs to provide real-time updates on project status, risks, and contingencies.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Project management, construction management, architecture, business, real estate, or a related field. Career level: Student.
• Experience: No specific years required. Prior internship or academic project experience in design, construction, or corporate real estate is preferred.
• Skills: Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; good time management, ability to multitask, and adapt to shifting priorities; self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and a growth-oriented mindset.
• Bonus: Familiarity with project management tools or software; exposure to construction industry terms and processes through coursework or internships.
