Logistics Partnership Management Project Intern (TikTok Shop – US Operation) – 2026 Start (BS/MS) | TikTok
The Tone:
This is an internship at TikTok, likely located in Los Angeles, CA. TikTok is building a commerce platform designed to bring discovery, inspiration, and joy back to shopping for merchants, creators, and affiliates. This role supports the TikTok Shop US operation team in delivering high-quality products and a unique customer experience. The intern will engage in impactful short-term projects, gaining practical skills and a deeper understanding of career interests within the e-commerce logistics sector.

• Mission: Support the TikTok Shop US operation team in building and optimizing its logistics partnership network to deliver a high-quality customer experience for TikTok’s e-commerce business.
• Tech Stack: Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP); SQL, Python, BI tools (as a plus)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Supplier Sourcing: Support market research to identify and evaluate potential logistics and supply chain service providers in the U.S. market.
• Evaluation Framework Development: Assist in building frameworks for supplier evaluation, including cost, capability, and risk analysis, and help prepare RFQ/RFP materials.
• Supplier Performance: Maintain the tiered supplier management system, tracking performance metrics and identifying issues.
• Cost Optimization: Conduct cost structure analysis on fulfillment services to pinpoint savings and inform negotiation strategies.
• Process Collaboration: Collaborate with operations, product, and strategy teams to align procurement activities and optimize processes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, International Trade, Economics, or related fields.
• Experience: Ability to commit to a full-time internship for at least 3 months.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills including Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP); excellent written and verbal English communication; strong project management and organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Bonus: Mandarin proficiency; prior experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or operations from internships; experience with SQL, Python, or BI tools; familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment models (e.g., FBA, 3PL); understanding of the U.S. logistics market landscape and key service providers; proven experience with supplier negotiation, RFQ processes, or cost analysis.
