Integrated Marketing & Operation Project Intern (TikTok Shop – US Operation) – 2026 Start (BS/MS) | TikTok

The Tone:
This is an internship at TikTok, located in Los Angeles. TikTok is expanding its e-commerce industry presence, building a new and improved shopping experience for its millions of global users. This role is vital for executing varied campaigns for iconic brands, contributing to cutting-edge initiatives, and driving forward yearly strategic modules for the US operation team. The intern will support high-impact initiatives that connect brands with consumers, helping to shape the future of e-commerce on TikTok Shop.

The TL;DR

• Pay: $23.75 hourly
• Team: US operation team, specifically supporting the campaign & marketing team
• Mission: Assist in conceptualizing, developing, and executing marketing and sales campaigns to connect brands with consumers and enhance brand awareness on TikTok Shop.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Campaign Execution: Assist with the daily operational needs of the campaign and marketing team, including conceptualizing, developing, and executing sales campaigns, brand campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate and coordinate with internal account managers, user research, creator managers, and various cross-functional teams for campaign creation and optimization.
• Influencer Engagement: Assist in communication and collaboration with local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), social media, and other digital channels to develop online community reputation and brand awareness.
• Performance Optimization: Conduct data analysis on campaign performance, including order and GMV targets, and offer ongoing recommendations for optimization through innovative ideas, partnerships, and activations.
• Market Intelligence: Research local market trends, culture, viral content, and trending news to stay abreast of social media, e-commerce, and digital marketing developments, leveraging these insights to optimize campaigns and support branding execution.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Business or a related discipline.
• Experience: Familiarity with the latest local trends and social media influencers.
• Skills: Excellent stakeholder and project management skills, strong ability to manage expectations and collaborate under tight constraints, independent and self-motivated with project ownership, and analytical thinking for deriving insights from data.
• Bonus: Majors in communication, marketing, or e-commerce-related areas; ability to work full-time for more than 4 months.
