What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations: Perform essential general labor tasks or operate equipment as needed to support project execution on various construction sites.
• Surveying: Provide crucial assistance for GPS survey lookout operations, ensuring accurate data collection in the field.
• Logistics: Accurately track and maintain comprehensive inventory records for all project materials and supplies.
• Safety: Execute flagging operations to ensure site safety and prepare detailed daily traffic control reports.
• Coordination: Support the coordination efforts with subcontractors, facilitating seamless integration and progress of their work.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a degree program focused on civil engineering, construction engineering, construction management, or a closely related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience working on-site within heavy civil construction environments. Proficiency is required in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Skills: Ability to read and write accurately for meticulous documentation. Capacity to read, hear, and comprehend both written and verbal instructions effectively. Possession of a valid driver’s license and a verifiable safe driving record.
• Bonus: Familiarity or experience with industry-specific software such as HCSS Heavy Job, CAD, and Viewpoint is considered a valuable asset.
