Project Engineering Aide Sr. | Lockheed Martin

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Lockheed Martin, supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program. Lockheed Martin develops advanced systems to keep people safe and address global challenges. This position is crucial for providing technical and organizational support to the Boost Controls team, ensuring smooth operations and project success within an inclusive environment focused on integrity and corporate responsibility.

• Pay: $51000–$97750 yearly
• Team: Boost Controls team within the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program
• Mission: Provide crucial support for smooth operations and project success within the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program.
• Tech Stack: Jira, Confluence, MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Tableau

What You’ll Actually Do
• Documentation Generation: Generate various project documentation, reports, flow charts, block diagrams, schedules, and schematics.
• Meeting Participation: Attend daily and weekly team meetings to discuss technical, schedule, and operations issues, contributing to problem-solving.
• Status Reporting: Prepare and present weekly status chart packages and reports to programs and management, ensuring clear communication.
• Document Review: Review technical documents to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Meeting Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate technical exchange meetings to foster collaboration among team members and stakeholders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An Associate degree in a STEM field, or completed coursework towards a related degree, coupled with relevant work experience and/or technical training.
• Experience: Ability to obtain a government security clearance, experience with project planning and product life cycle management, and experience performing design assessments to develop data-driven solutions.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail, effective communication and interaction with technical engineers, management, and program customers, and a basic understanding of STEM principles to interpret and present technical material.
• Bonus: A customer-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills, experience coordinating technical engineering meetings (including in classified environments), public speaking and presentation experience with Senior Leaders and Government Stakeholders, strong time management skills, and experience with project tracking tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint, or Tableau.
