Project Coordinator | Canopy Team

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Canopy Team, located in Baltimore, MD. Canopy Team is a women-led, multi-disciplinary practice creating memorable places that transcend sports to build community, focusing on sports & entertainment industry projects from vision to operations. This Project Coordinator role is crucial for an energetic, entrepreneurial team, spanning both design support and project management. The individual ensures the successful execution of conceptual-level projects involving multiple stakeholders.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Coordination: Coordinate multiple design deliverables across entitlement, design, and construction project phases.
• Design Support: Provide graphic design services to project teams, producing and modifying logos, renderings, mockups, and presentations.
• Documentation: Maintain and develop confidential project budgets, schedules, agendas, and other essential project documents.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as a supporting point of contact for the owner, design team, city, and other project stakeholders.
• Research: Maintain knowledge of sports venues and public gathering space trends and best practices, incorporating this into projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional experience in architecture, construction, design, interior design, graphic design, real estate development, or project management. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience: 0-3 years of professional experience. Demonstrated experience with the creation and design of graphic elements.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, highly organized, comfort with ambiguity, exceptional problem assessment and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, ability to work independently or collaboratively in frequently changing environments.
• Bonus: Proficiency in conceptual-level 3D Modeling (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, etc.), proficiency in reading and evaluating architectural drawings and other building documents, interest in professional sports and venues, interest in a career in architecture, design, development, or project management, ability to travel to project sites.
