Project Coordinator | Pure’s Food Specialties, LLC.

The Tone:
This is an entry-level role at Pure’s Food Specialties, LLC., located in Broadview, IL. As a company focused on food manufacturing, Pure’s Food Specialties supports a wide range of private label customers. This Project Coordinator position is essential for overseeing private label projects from their initial concept through to successful market launch. The role ensures the accurate and timely execution of diverse customer programs by coordinating across multiple internal and external teams.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Management: Support the execution of various private label projects, including new product launches, packaging updates, and other customer initiatives, by maintaining detailed timelines and tracking progress.
• Data and System Management: Manage the accurate setup of new items in customer portals and internal systems, ensuring all product, packaging, and logistics data is correct and up-to-date.
• Artwork & Documentation Coordination: Facilitate the entire artwork development process, from revisions to approvals with both internal teams and external partners, while also assisting with packaging documentation.
• Reporting & Analysis: Create and maintain Excel-based reports and trackers, analyze sales performance and key metrics to identify trends, and prepare data for sales presentations.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate inputs from Sales, R&D, Operations, Procurement, Quality, and Customer teams, schedule project meetings, document action items, and communicate project updates and risks.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree. This is an entry-level position suitable for candidates with 0-2 years of professional experience, including valuable internships or relevant academic coursework.
• Experience: 0-2 years demonstrating strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including comfort with building trackers, organizing data, and utilizing basic formulas. The role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively across detailed workstreams.
• Skills: Highly organized with strong attention to detail, capable of clear written and verbal communication, and possessing a proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Bonus: Experience in food manufacturing or the CPG industry, familiarity with packaging, product development, or production processes, and basic data analysis experience including with syndicated data tools like Nielsen or IRI/Circana.
