Regional Program Manager LATAM- Health & Benefits | WTW

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at WTW, located flexibly in various Latin American countries where WTW has a presence. WTW delivers health and benefits solutions, and this role is crucial for connecting strategy with execution to ensure complex programs yield real results. The position aims to coordinate a portfolio of interrelated projects, manage risks and resources, and serve as a trusted advisor to leadership in Latin America.

• Mission: To lead a program composed of multiple related projects, ensuring their coordinated execution delivers defined strategic business benefits.
• Tech Stack: MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Plan and Govern: Define and maintain the program’s master plan and roadmap, aligning scope, timeline, deliverables, and resources, while ensuring consistent project methodology across all components.
• Monitor and Report: Consolidate and report project progress, performance indicators, risks, and dependencies, preparing actionable recommendations for executive committees and leadership.
• Manage Resources and Budget: Coordinate resource and capacity allocation across projects, identify budget or timeline deviations, propose mitigation plans, and ensure compliance with policies to drive business benefits.
• Ensure Governance and Collaboration: Act as the program’s focal point in steering committees, facilitating executive decisions, aligning Project Managers and business teams, and leading inter-project risk and dependency management.
• Lead and Develop: Mentor and develop Project Managers and coordinators within the PMO LATAM team, promote best practices, and contribute to the region’s organizational maturity in project and program management.

The Must-Haves
• Background: University degree or equivalent professional experience in administration, engineering, technology, finance, or a related discipline, with a focus on leading multiple complex projects or programs.
• Experience: 6 or more years leading complex projects or programs (e.g., Program Manager, Senior Project Manager, PMO Leader); expertise in PMI, Agile/Scrum (including SAFe), or hybrid methodologies; experience managing budgets, capacity, and resources across multiple teams; proven track record of establishing governance and presenting to executive teams.
• Skills: Analytical and structured thinking, organization, discipline, and a strong results orientation; demonstrated ability to lead without direct authority, negotiate, and resolve conflicts across teams; excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels, acting as a trusted advisor; proactivity in identifying risks, challenging assumptions, and proposing viable solutions; adaptable to dynamic, regional, matrixed, and multicultural environments.
• Bonus: Experience in insurance, benefits, financial services, consulting, or regulated sectors; PgMP, PMP, or other recognized program, project, or agility certification; experience in regional or multinational organizations; advanced English and Spanish (required), with Portuguese being valued.
